About

Ellinor is a dramatic colatura soprano. She is currently studying at Stockholm University of the Arts – the department of Opera.

In August 2022, she made her debut in the role as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, produced by Suitcase opera.

Ellinor has a great interest in how opera arts can reach out to a broader audience and has worked in numerous projects, both as a singer and creative consultant to find new ways to give life to classical music.

In March 2022, Ellinor became an alternate board member of Det Fria Operakompaniet – Kamraterna.

During the last 10 years, Ellinor has freelanced both as a singer and an actress. She found her passion in the opera genre at Stockholm’s opera studio in 2014-2016 and played roles mainly in the bel canto series, such as Rosina in The Barber of Seville and Amina in The Sleepwalker.

She has worked continuously as a demo singer and reader both in advertising and stage contexts since she graduated high school and her early musical life at Adolf Fredrik’s school in Stockholm.
